Ingo Piroth joins Trianz as SVP and national practice leader for US

Ingo Piroth has joined management and technology consulting firm Trianz as senior vice president and national practice leader for the US. He brings more than 22 years of experience in professional services, software solutions, and engineering.

In the new role, Piroth will drive the Santa Clara-based firm’s growth strategy, while overseeing the scaling of core practices – including digital benchmarking, transformation strategy & roadmaps, digital studios, analytics, business apps, cloud, infrastructure, and security.

Piroth is a seasoned digital transformation leader, with deep expertise in business strategy, digital reinvention, and emerging technology. Over his career, he has built and managed sales and delivery teams, and created and scaled new practice areas, offers, and go-to-market strategies.

He joins Trianz fron Cognizant Softvision, where he was VP of digital engineering, holding commercial responsibility for the practice’s sales and execution. Before that, Piroth led IBM’s North America innovation and emerging tech practice, supporting clients with custom solutions built on IBM’s analytics, AI, cloud and SaaS technologies.

Prior to IBM, he was VP of CRM mobility services at SAP, where he oversaw North America go-to-market services and sales organizations, and enterprise mobility sales and execution. In the role, he helped SAP reposition as a cloud-based solutions company, and also led the hiring, training, and enablement of a new sales organization.

Piroth holds an MBA in e-business and management from the University of San Francisco and a BA in economics from the University of Sussex.
