Protiviti, the consulting arm of staffing firm Robert Half, has announced the formation of its Protiviti Digital offering.
Like Deloitte Digital or PwC Experience, the new offering is at its core a digital marketing agency. In addition to digital marketing and creative services, the business will bundle together related capabilities in digital transformation strategy and customer experience (websites, customer-facing app development, e-commerce, user design, etc.).
“Protiviti Digital was formed out of a distinct recognition of the relationship between advanced technology, effective operations and strong customer experiences, and is a natural extension of our current client services,” said Cory Gunderson, executive vice president, global solutions, Protiviti. “Protiviti Digital is part of our strategy to expand our end-to-end digital offerings to help our clients leverage the power of data, enabling technologies and other means to facilitate exceptional customer experiences for their customers.”
The Silicon Valley-based firm has tapped Joan Smith to lead Protiviti Digital. Smith, who joined the firm last year as North American lead for digital solutions, brings more than two decades of experience in digital marketing and CX to the role.
She previously spent 10 years at Accenture, where she was a latterly a managing director focusing on digital marketing engagements. Before that, she held sales and marketing leadership roles in several large media companies, including Warner Bros, Walt Disney Studios, and NBC Universal.
“The current supply chain shortages and quickly shifting customer preferences underscore the pivotal role of strong digital solutions for long-term business resilience and staying competitive in today’s disruptive marketplace,” Smith said.
Protiviti Digital’s technology partners currently include Adobe, Salesforce, Microsoft, Google, and UI Path.
The wider firm delivers services in business strategy and operations, performance improvement, digital transformation, technology consulting, risk and compliance, and transaction services, among other areas. Protiviti has more than 5,000 employees across 85+ offices in over 25 countries.
The firm last year announced the launch of an Americas delivery center in Cincinnati, which is projected to create 450 jobs.
