RSM US names Pat Vance head of consulting

RSM US has promoted Pat Vance to leader of its consulting business, effective May 1. He is based in Dubuque, Iowa.

Vance, who has been at the firm for more than 25 years, succeeds Brian Becker, who will assume the role of CEO in August.

Vance will oversee strategy and operations for RSM’s consulting business, which has approximately 4,600 people and more than $1 billion in annual revenue.

“Pat embodies the leadership characteristics our firm, our people and our clients need in today’s complex world,” said Becker. “He is skilled at seeing the patterns of the future, creating services to help clients navigate that future, and supporting our people in developing new skills and capabilities throughout their careers.”

He has a bachelor’s degree in management information systems and business finance from Loras College.

“Our clients’ needs are rapidly evolving as a result of technology and the dynamic global business landscape,” Vance said. “The RSM consulting team has a strong history of innovation and offering market-leading services to support our clients’ growing businesses, and I am very enthusiastic to help our clients and our teams meet the challenges and opportunities of the future as the firm’s consulting leader.”
