Sr4 Partners acquires leadership development firm Ignite

Organizational consultancy sr4 Partners has acquired Ignite, a leadership development company. Both firms are based in Chicago.

Ignite was founded in 2017 and provides a professional development platform for subscribing members. The Ignite Community delivers weekly training to improve leadership and team performance, the ability to collaborate with a network of talented peers, and access to coaching for early and mid-level (5-15 years’ experience) leaders.

Ignite reports that 92% of members cite increased leadership capabilities, 89% say they are more motivated, and 87% say they would stay longer at their company than they would have otherwise.

Sr4’s acquisition of Ignite will bolster its leadership development capabilities, while adding an enrolment-based offer to its consulting services.

Sr4 helps clients across industries develop more effective leaders, more cohesive teams, a thriving culture, and inclusive change. The firm’s leadership offering includes coaching, presentation training, and the newly added Ignite Community; the team cohesiveness offering includes team meeting design and facilitation, learning design, and team building experiences; the culture offering includes culture surveys and consultation, and diversity research and inclusion activities; and the change offering includes change management planning and execution, and training and learning design.

The Chicago firm, which was founded in 2007, has worked with clients such as RSM, Cars.com, and the Federal Reserve.

To show off the strength of the merger, sr4 will be offering complimentary participation in a three-part forum, which aims to support senior leaders dealing with the ongoing pandemic. “Leading through Disruption” launches on May 14.

“Disruption will be the new norm for the foreseeable future,” said Todd Israelite, sr4 founding partner, “and leaders cannot afford business as usual. Our merger with Ignite is a great example of new collaborative opportunities, and the leadership forum will highlight the value we bring to our clients and the business community at-large as we work together to navigate these challenging times.”
