TSR, Inc. acquires IT staffing firm Geneva Consulting Group

TSR, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSRI), a provider of information technology consulting and recruiting services, has acquired Geneva Consulting Group, a Port Washington, NY-based IT staffing firm.

Geneva helps organizations meet their IT staffing needs with solutions in staff augmentation (temporary and temporary-to-permanent), full-time placement, and project-based placement. The firm helps fill positions across applications, data science, project management, and IT compliance and risk, among others.

Geneva’s clients includes Fortune 100, 500, 1000, and middle market companies within the financial services, insurance, media, utilities, and non-profit sectors. The firm has 44 employees on LinkedIn.

TSR’s acquisition of Geneva will bolster its IT staffing and recruiting capabilities. The move also aligns with the company board’s strategy to accelerate growth and improve returns for shareholders, according to a release from the firm.

Based in Hauppauge (Long Island), New York, TSR has been delivering IT staffing and consulting services since 1969. The firm offers temporary and permanent IT placements, serving medium-sized and large companies in the financial services, life sciences, public utilities, and media sectors in Metropolitan New York, New England, and the Mid-Atlantic region.

The firm also provides specialized consulting on high-level strategic projects, such as application transformation projects, through its subsidiary TSR Consulting Services.

TSR has 150 employees according to LinkedIn, with additional offices in New York City and Edison, New Jersey.
