Management and technology consultancy Baringa Partners has added Yaphet Tedla as a manager in the firm’s financial services practice. He will be based in New York.
Founded in 2000 and headquartered in London, Baringa Partners provides consulting services to clients in financial services, energy and resources, technology, media and telecom (TMT), retail, pharma, and the public sector.
Baringa’s offerings span project management, technology transformation, data and analytics, supply chain, and finance, risk and compliance, among other areas. The firm has offices in London, New York, Dusseldorf, Sydney, Abu Dhabi, and Singapore.
Baringa has now strengthened its financial services practice in New York with the addition of Yaphet Tedla. He joins from Accenture, where he spent over six years, initially working in the company’s Chicago office before transferring to the New York City location.
Tedla has more than six years of management consulting experience, working on engagements in IT strategy and planning, digital transformations, data operations, organization design, and cybersecurity. In his time at Accenture, he worked with numerous financial services clients, including insurers and banks.
He joined Accenture – one of the largest tech consultancies in the world – in 2013 as a senior business analyst, before being promoted to management consultant and then management consulting manager.
Prior to Accenture, Tedla was an intern at fintech company BondWave and a finance and accounting intern at Motorola Employees Credit Union. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, math and international studies from Wheaton College.
