AlixPartners adds consumer products expert Rob DeNardo as managing director

Consulting firm AlixPartners has welcomed Rob DeNardo as a managing director in the consumer products practice. He will be based in Chicago.

DeNardo brings more than 20 years of strategy and operations experience to AlixPartners. He has delivered numerous transformations that enable competitive advantage and growth for clients in North America, Europe, and Asia. During his career, DeNardo has focused on consumer products, including food, beverage, and durable goods. He also has deep experience in the industrial equipment sector.

He joins AlixPartners from Strategy& (formerly Booz & Co), where he spent 13 years, working his way up from senior associate to partner. DeNardo most recently served as US leader for supply chain consulting and digital supply chain consulting, where he built new offerings incorporating AI and predictive analytics. His engagements included a supply chain transformation for $15 billion food company and a digital and value chain transformation for a $15 billion snack food company.

DeNardo also spent nine years at Texas Instruments, where he was a systems engineer. In the role, he coded, sold, and supported digital signal processors in areas such as digital audio/video, medical, automotive, and telecom.

He holds an MBA from Northwestern University, as well as a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
