Automation Anywhere releases new RPA solutions for Covid-19

RPA solutions firm Automation Anywhere announced new robotic process automation (RPA) solutions to help organizations with business continuity and remote work programs.

The company’s platform allows clients to automate repetitive and manual tasks via software bots – boosting productivity and customer experience. Its Bot Store is the largest marketplace for automation solutions, with more than 850 pre-built solutions.

“The new normal has forced organizations to adapt differently so that remote employees can remain productive and businesses can maintain continuity,” said Mihir Shukla, CEO and co-founder of Automation Anywhere. “We are proud to support the efforts of frontline workers in essential services, such as government and healthcare, as well as other industries, while mobilizing the power of the RPA community to address the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The San Jose-based firm said it was helping automate the manual processing of WHO clinical case forms in partnership with Microsoft. Enlisted by the UK’s National Health Service, Automation Anywhere is leveraging its AI-powered IQ Bot to extract patient info and process Covid-19 cases faster for the WHO.

The firm worked with NetCraft to create a public service dashboard for Macao, China, providing citizens with vital info such as hospital wait times and local availability of masks. Automation Anywhere also worked with IT consultancy Shezhen Pactera Information Ltd. on an employee risk assessment tool for managing Covid-19 in mainland China.

The company is also using its RPA solutions to help hotel agents who are working from home, utilizing bots to help the remote workers access data to change customer reservations.

And new customizable software bots from the firm, such as the Health Status Manager, allow companies to continue operations when workers are out sick, with aggregated results on a dashboard.

Automation Anywhere has furthermore introduced a $500,000 RPA scholarship fund, allowing individuals to apply for a scholarship to the firm’s university to learn RPA skills. The firm also increased its offering of free online training in building bots.

The company has offices in more than 40 countries and a global network of 1,500 partners. Its Platinum Business Partners include consultancies such as Accenture, the Big Four, Mazars, Protiviti, and Cognizant. Consultancies help clients customize and implement solutions from Automation Anywhere to create better business processes.
