BBG hires ex-McKinsey consultant as VP of special projects

BBG, a Dallas-headquartered commercial property due diligence advisory firm, has hired Raj Roy as vice president of special projects.

In the new created role, Roy will leverage his strategy and operations consulting experience to drive cross-functional improvements in BBG’s operations and systems. He will collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and execute strategic firmwide initiatives, while also providing hands-on execution support.

Roy joins BBG from McKinsey, where he spent the last four years as a Dallas-based VP in the management consultancy’s transformation practice. He focused on revenue growth and other operational improvement engagements at energy firms, among other industry clients.

Before joining McKinsey, Roy was an associate in the corporate restructuring practice of Alvarez & Marsal, as well as a senior consultant at PacWest Consulting Partners and a consultant at Booz & Company (now PwC’s Strategy&). He was also previously director of operations at CleanEdison, a provider of training courses in cleantech and sustainable practices.
