BCG teams up with Parsable on digital transformation for industrials

Management consultancy Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and technology firm Parsable have partnered to help industrial clients accelerate their digital transformation.

Founded in 2013, Parsable provides industrial workers with modern digital tools to improve productivity, quality, and safety. The Parsable Connected Worker Platform converts paper-based procedures into mobile and interactive work instructions, leveraging multimedia and real-time collaboration.

The platform also enables industrial firms to guide human inputs and trigger actions in key systems and machines; collect operational data and insights into work activity; and improve procedures to increase efficiency.

Parsable serves a wide range of industrial sector clients, including those in manufacturing, energy, chemicals, aerospace, and automotive. The firm’s clients include P&G, Shell, and Honeywell. The company is based in San Francisco, with further offices in Austin, Vancouver, and Dublin.

The partnership will combine Parsable’s mobile-first Connected Worker Platform with BCG’s deep sector experience advising industrial companies on digital transformation. The premier management consultancy helps clients build better companies through capabilities in strategy advisory, technology and design, and corporate and digital ventures.

The consultancy has a large ecosystem of technology partners to give its clients the best-fit solutions for their needs. BCG has previously partnered with social impact tech firm Givewith and industrial IoT solutions firm Litmus Automation.

“We are pleased to be partnering with Parsable, which enables us to gain access to one competitive Connected Worker Platform, providing fast results and accelerating digital transformation for our clients. Through this collaboration we are adding to BCG’s suite of digital solutions and ecosystem of strategic partnerships, strengthening our ability to act as an integrator to transform the operations of our clients end to end,” said Maurice Berns, a BCG managing director and senior partner.
