Life sciences consultancy Beghou Consulting has added Janardhan Vellore as vice president of client development. He will be based in Princeton, New Jersey.
Vellore brings more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry and management consulting to Beghou, which focuses on commercial operations and marketing consulting for pharma and life sciences companies. He will be responsible for leading client acquisition and strategic account management, and will advise pharma and biotech clients on data, reporting, sales, marketing, patient services, and payer strategy.
Vellore has expertise across the areas that shape commercial strategy (managed care and access, patient centricity, marketing, and technology solutions) and commercial operations (forecasting, sales force design, segmentation, targeting, and new product launch).
He previously was in a leadership role at Analytical Wizards, where he grew the firm’s advanced analytics practice and commercialized big data platforms for the life sciences industry. He also previously held leadership roles at Bayer and Novartis Pharmaceuticals, overseeing teams in commercial analytics, market research, and management science. Earlier in his career, Vellore was a senior consultant at ZS Associates, where he supported pharma clients.
Vellore has an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in biomedical engineering from The University of Akron, and a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
