Consulting firm SEI refreshes brand and website

SEI (Systems Evolution, Inc.), a Cincinnati-based national management and technology consulting firm, has refreshed its brand identity and revamped its web presence.

The refresh preserves the firm’s swirl logo, as well as its focus on employee ownership and a “culture of collaboration.”

The logo is fairly simple, with a red swirl to the left of the “SEI” name, in an uppercase san serif font, either with black letters on a white background, or white letters on a black background.

The website is clean and uncluttered, with a white background, black sans serif font, and red accents – to align with the updated logo.

“We approached this project the same way we’ve approached working with our clients for almost 30 years: collaboratively, and with an eye towards driving long-term value,” said CEO Bill Gallagher.

The firm was founded in 1992 and bills itself as a locally-focused, 100% employee-owned alternative to the typical consulting model – which employs a heavy travel schedule and impersonal service, according to SEI. The firm uses local teams across 10 US cities to offer more personal and collaborative consulting services in strategy and operations, technology enablement, data and analytics, and cybersecurity.

The company works with clients across a range of industries, and was named a 2019 Best Firm to Work For by Consulting Magazine, and was an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing company in 2019.

SEI began its rebranding effort in fall 2019. “We realized that investing in our brand would enable us to strengthen our culture, create better business opportunities, and improve our ability to recruit best-in-class talent,” Gallagher said. “The end product has reaffirmed that decision.”

Now that the new website has launched, SEI will focus on expanding its capabilities and message to the market. The firm expects that its new digital presence and marketing materials will help drive growth in the future.
