Felix Global launches talent and organizational performance practice

Felix Global, a recruitment and HR consulting firm, has announced the creation of a new talent and organizational performance practice.

The practice will work with C-suite leaders on engagements in cultural alignment, organizational design, enterprise talent strategy, and human resources strategy. It will be led by Marc Detampel, who joined Felix Global a year ago to launch its executive search practice.

“Companies are facing unprecedented talent challenges today,” said Detampel. “With a global pandemic changing workforce norms, questions like mobility, office, or hybrid are getting scrutiny, so corporate leaders need to step up to the challenge and develop new and effective strategies.”

Detampel has 25 years of consulting experience in executive talent advisory, human capital strategy, change management, leadership development, and organizational design. Prior to joining Felix he worked at Alvarez & Marsal, EY, Accenture, and PwC.

“We’re excited to have Marc lead this new effort into talent and organizational strategy,” said Jim Graham, chief executive officer of Felix Global. “His experience and capabilities instantly add value to our firm and, more importantly, to our clients.”

The move is part of the Chicago-headquartered firm’s ongoing services portfolio expansion. The firm last year launched the aforementioned executive search practice and followed that with the acquisition of Shields Meneley Partners (SMP), an executive transition and coaching firm. The deal added SMP’s “portfolio life” offering, which helps executives chart their post-corporate life – including serving on boards, teaching, and mentoring.

Felix Global’s current business lines are leadership development (coaching, team effectiveness, and emerging leaders); talent acquisition (executive search, professional recruiting, and talent advisory); organizational effectiveness (company culture and HR strategy and outsourcing); outplacement; and career management.

The firm has more than 90 people across eight office in the US and 16 offices in Canada and works with clients in a broad range of industries.
