David Endicott, a seasoned information technology executive with 30+ years of experience, has joined IT consulting firm Wavestone US as a managing director.
Endicott brings more than three decades of experience to Wavestone, having served in several senior IT roles in the healthcare, aviation, and travel industries. He will advise Wavestone clients on application development and management, IT infrastructure, product management, and profit & loss management.
Endicott previously spent four years as chief technology officer at Providence Health & Services, the third largest not-for-profit health system in the US. Before that he was VP of service management and engineering at United Airlines and VP of IT infrastructure at US Airways. At US Airways, he oversaw a team of 300 staff and a budget of $75,000,000, and led an IT infrastructure integration resulting from the firm’s merger with American Airlines.
Endicott was also previously the CTO of Sabre Airline Solutions, where he led a team of 700 people developing 80+ commercial applications, and VP of website and systems development at subsidiary Travelocity.“Throughout his career, David has demonstrated a penchant for transformational innovation, and we believe his decades of cross-industry experience will bring tremendous value to our business and our customers,” Jeff Vail, CEO of Wavestone US, said.
Endicott added, “Many companies are faced with a lot of unknowns in trying to navigate towards a new normal, and the firm’s straight-shooting, peer-to-peer advisory approach is the kind of support that’s necessary and practical in this environment. I am proud to be part of Wavestone’s team of collaborative and innovative professionals.”
Wavestone US was formerly WGroup, a Philadelphia-based IT consultancy which merged with France-based consulting firm Wavestone in July 2019. WGroup’s approximately 100 professionals formed the North American arm of Wavestone, which has 3,000 professionals worldwide.
Wavestone US earlier this year appointed Craig MacGibbon as a managing director focusing on transformation advisory services.
