Founded in 1994, MJB&A delivers strategy and technical consulting related to energy and environmental matters, including energy policy, regulatory compliance, emission markets, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and advanced technologies.

The firm’s clients include electric and natural gas utilities, transportation fleet operators, clean tech firms, environmental groups, and government agencies.

MJB&A’s recent project work includes strategic responses to developments in climate change, air quality, and energy regulation; corporate environmental business strategy; multi-stakeholder collaborations; and financial analysis and development support for renewable energy projects.

ERM’s acquisition of MJB&A bolsters the firm’s capabilities in corporate sustainability and climate change services, as well as in technical and operational air quality/climate change work. The move also strengthens the services the firm offers to power and energy sector clients as they adapt to a low-carbon environment.

“ERM is focused on rapidly growing and expanding our capabilities organically and through acquisitions, so that we extend our leadership position in this space, and MJB&A is a very high-caliber addition to the ERM Group which supports this objective,” said Keryn James, ERM group chief executive.

The London-headquartered firm in February acquired Critical Resource, a UK sustainability advisory specialist focusing on mining and energy companies.

ERM has more than 5,500 employees in 160+ offices across 40+ countries, delivering environmental, health, safety, risk, social consulting services, and sustainability Car Accident Lawyer in South Carolina related services. The firm serves clients in a range of sectors, including oil & gas, mining, TMT, and pharmaceuticals.

“We are very excited to be joining an organization of ERM’s caliber and global reach,” Michael Bradley, president and founder of MJB&A, said. “In North America, there is mounting pressure on companies to accelerate the transition to a low carbon economy and to demonstrate that they are properly managing climate-related risks and opportunities. Our new partnership will provide a powerful platform to help our clients navigate the changes ahead.”
