Maine Pointe, a global supply chain and operational consulting firm, has appointed Alfred Baumbusch as chief operating officer.
Baumbusch takes on the COO role immediately, with an initial focus on engagement delivery.
Baumbusch has a 25-year track record leading both domestic and foreign-owned companies, with experience serving as a C-suite executive and management consultant supporting large- and medium-sized firms through periods of transition and organizational change. Baumbusch has functional expertise in private equity operational due diligence, operational strategy, change implementation, strategic sourcing, and business strategy development.
He joined Maine Pointe in 2017 as an executive vice president and engagement partner, working in the areas of private equity, operational strategy, and client relationships.
Baumbusch has an executive MBA from the University of Texas in San Antonio and is a graduate in manufacturing engineering from Fanshawe College in London, Canada.

Maine Pointe last month appointed Staub as chief executive officer. He succeeded founder Steven Bowen, who led the firm since 2004.
