Garrett Hrncir joins Capco as a partner in Chicago

Digital transformation expert Garret Hrncir has joined Capco, a financial services industry-focused consultancy, as a partner in the firm’s Chicago office.

Hrncir will support clients on the design and implementation of digital products and services, focusing on companies in the US Midwest, West, and Southeast.

He brings more than 20 years of technology and digital consultancy experience to Capco, with particular expertise in experience strategy and design.

Customer experience (CX) is the sum of every interaction a customer has with a business. CX strategy entails making a plan to deliver a positive experience across all interactions – pre- and post-sale – while CX design refers to designing products or services that place customer and user experience at the center. Experiences and journeys are increasingly digital and data-informed, and the pandemic has only accelerated these trends – as well as demand for related consulting services.

Hrncir previously spent more than 12 years at digital marketing agency Isobar (a Dentsu Aegis firm), joining the agency as a user experience manager and most recently serving as VP for experience strategy and design.

Before Isobar, Hrncir was a design and engineering manager at interactive agency Xylem CCI and director of web technology at employment law firm Jackson Lewis LLP.

Michael Pugliese, managing partner of Capco’s US business, said, “We are excited to welcome Garrett to the Capco Partner team. His extensive track-record in helping organizations transform their customer initiatives and employee experiences will be key as we continue to grow and expand our Digital practice across the US.”

Capco’s digital practice helps financial services clients drive transformation through user-centric design, lean product development, and emerging technology. The firm also helps sector clients manage business change and cost transformation; finance, risk, and compliance; technology delivery; and data and technology solutions.

Headquartered in London, Capco has more than 5,000 employees across offices in the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

The firm earlier this year added Bill Stewart and Paul Mokdessi as partners in the US.
