Life sciences consultancy Coeus Consulting Group adds two executives

Coeus Consulting Group, a Philadelphia-based boutique life sciences consulting firm, has added two executives to bolster its market access offering. Kim Gwiadzdinski joins Coeus as the VP of outcomes & value based contracting and Dr. Neil Minkoff joins as chief medical officer.

Gwiadzdinski brings more than 20 years of market access experience, having held key strategic roles at large national payers Prime Therapeutics and Cigna. In the roles, she focused on strategy and implementation of agreements designed to lower overall costs.

She spent more than five years at Prime, where she was an AVP in trade relations, value based contracting & rebate administration; before that, she served as a senior director in pharmaceutical trade relations. At Cigna, Gwiadzdinski spent three-and-a-half years as AVP of pharmaceutical contracting.

Gwiadzdinski also previously worked at large pharmaceutical firms, serving as a senior director of market access strategy & portfolio innovation at Novo Nordisk, as well as a senior director of health management services at Merck.

She holds an MBA in pharmaceutical marketing from Saint Joseph’s University and a BS in pharmacy from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

Minkoff has more than 20 years of market access experience. He founded consultancy FountainHead HealthCare in 2010, and also served as chief medical officer for the past nine years for a small firm working on patient data. He also served as commissioner of the Massachusetts Group Insurance Commission in 2012, which oversees health insurance for the state.

Prior to that, he was senior medical director at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and associate medical director at Partners Community Healthcare. Minkoff holds an MD from Dartmouth Medical School and a BA from Bowdoin College.
