MorganFranklin Consulting, a Washington, DC area–headquartered management and technology advisory firm, has acquired the Microsoft enterprise resource planning (ERP) practice of Kraft Enterprise Systems, a Nashville-based technology consultancy.
The acquisition bolsters MorganFranklin’s existing ERP capability while expanding its presence in the Nashville market.
Kraft was founded in 1996 and provides consulting for NetSuite-based ERP, Adaptive Insights budgeting and forecasting, and Microsoft ERP. The firm is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in the resale and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics GP.
Kraft’s Microsoft practice works with clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
“We pride ourselves in helping our clients with the selection, implementation and optimization of ERP technologies as a critical aspect of enabling broader transformation,” Chris Mann, MorganFranklin managing partner and CEO, said. “This acquisition builds upon our existing, talented ERP practice as well as significantly expands our presence in Nashville, a market we are focused on for major expansion in 2020. We are excited to welcome Shannon Mullins and her team of talented client-service professionals and look forward to our continued growth together.”
MorganFranklin was acquired last summer by Vaco, a Nashville-based recruitment and consulting firm. Vaco is a portfolio company of Olympus Partners. MorganFranklin retained its branding and became the consulting platform of Vaco, which has 1,200 employees in the US, Canada, and India.
“Our team looks forward to working with the entire MorganFranklin organization to provide top quality services to our clients as well as expand our reach nationally,” said Shannon Mullins, Microsoft practice director at Kraft Enterprise Solutions. “In addition, our Nashville-based team looks forward to helping MorganFranklin accelerate the growth of its entire service offering in the Nashville market.”
MorganFranklin delivers consulting services in business, finance, digital transformation, accounting and financial reporting, risk, M&A, and data & analytics, among other areas. Aside from its Washington-area headquarters, the company has regional offices in Atlanta, NYC, San Francisco, LA, and Charlotte. MorganFranklin was the top-ranked Small Consulting Firm to Work For in Consulting Magazine’s 2018 list.
The company recently launched a cybersecurity practice via a rebrand of consultancy Vaco’s existing cybersecurity practice.
