Sensiba San Filippo acquires Oregon-based SGA CPAs & Consultants

Sensiba San Filippo (SSF), a San Francisco Bay Area accounting and consulting firm, has expanded into Oregon with the acquisition of SGA CPAs & Consultants, a Bend, OR-based boutique accounting and consulting firm.

Founded in 1989, SGA delivers accounting, tax, and consulting to high-net-worth individuals and privately held businesses in a range of industries. The firm has more than 10 employees, according to LinkedIn.

SSF’s acquisition of SGA will expand the firm’s footprint out from the Bay Area and into Oregon. The new Bend office will take on the SSF brand.

“We are excited about the opportunity to expand into the Central Oregon market. It’s a growing region with a large agricultural market and a burgeoning venture capital and technology market, which have been key client groups for us,” John Sensiba, managing partner of SSF, said.

SSF has more than 240 people across offices in Pleasanton, San Mateo, San Jose, and Fresno, CA. The firm offers audit, tax, and consulting services to clients in agribusiness, construction, manufacturing and distribution, real estate, technology, and venture capital. SSF’s consulting offerings including family office services, sustainability advisory, and cloud technology solutions – with a focus on Sage Intacct financial management software.
